CBNNews.com - Suicide in the army is at its highest level in more than 25 years.

Pete Hegseth, executive director of Vets for Freedom, joined Newswatch to discuss the troubling spike in Army suicides. Click play to watch the interview.

A new report shows suicide rates in 2007 were up 20-percent from the year before.

One hundred twenty-one suicides were reported last year. That's more than double of what was reported in 2001.

Military officials attribute the increase, partly to, the number of days troops were deployed.
