When most people sit down to work on the family budget, soaring prices from the gas pump to the grocery store make stretching the dollar very hard.

Financial experts say far too many Americans aren't investing and saving for the future to the level they need because of worry over the economy. 

Economist and author Ben Stein says it doesn't have to be that way. He talks about what you can do in his new book "Yes, You Can Supercharge Your Portfolio."
