Softball Team Shows True Sportsmanship

CBNNews.com - A Division II college softball game is unlikely to make national news, but you'll get a story that will remind you of the way sports are meant to be played.
In the final game of Sara Tucholsky's career at the University of Western Oregon, she hit her first home run.
But as she was rounding first, she tore her ACL, leaving her stranded on the base path.
The rules say that if she doesn't touch home plate, the home run doesn't count.
And her teammates are not allowed to touch her. So two girls on the other team from Central Washington University carried Sara around the base paths, stopping long enough for Sara to touch each base.
When they finally got to homeplate, the crowd greeted them with tears and a standing ovation.
As it turns out, the run Sara scored wound up deciding the game.
But if you ask the coaches or players on either team, they'll tell you that the final score didn't really matter.
