Hey, Republican National Committee, Barack Obama says keep his family out of it. Obama looked clearly agitated when defending his wife Michelle on Good Morning America. Watch it here.
Look, let's have a reality check here. Michelle Obama will be put under the microscope by not just the McCain camp and the RNC but by the American people. Cindy McCain will too. When Americans select a President, we don't just go for the candidate. It's the whole package.
Think for a moment about whether you would vote for Obama if he was married to Lindsey Lohan? (OK, well that's a stretch) Or if McCain was married to Madonna? Would you vote for them? (actually, I'm afraid of the answer) But you get the point. This is an age-old issue. A husband can reflect poorly on a wife and vice versa.
