Homeschoolers Jailed in Germany

In southern Germany last week I met members of 4 home schooling families who are being punished by the German government for home schooling.
Three of the home schooling fathers I talked to had already been jailed. And the day after this video was shot, another home schooling father we talked to, Waldemar Block, was taken away to jail. Then two days after our visit, Olga Block, wife of Waldemar's brother Alexander, was taken to jail. Since they are no longer home schooling-- they've all given up on home schooling for now and put their kids in private Christian school--I can only assume that it was for alleged home schooling crimes already committed.
What makes this even more egregious is that these are German Baptist families from the Soviet Union, where they faced similar persecution. They returned to Germany when the iron curtain fell and no doubt expected more from the German government.
Another embarrassing aspect of this story for the Germans is the Chancellor who first outlawed home schooling: Adolf Hitler.
These children are now wondering when their jailed parents are coming home.
