CBNNews.com - Israeli authorities have arrested six men suspected of trying to set up a terror-network linked to al-Qaeda, including one who expressed an interest in shooting down President Bush's helicopter earlier this year, security officials said Friday.

Two of the men are Arab citizens of Israel, both students at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, officials said. The other four are Palestinian residents of east Jerusalem. The men range in age from 21 to 24.

Investigators found bomb-making instructions on the personal computers of several of the suspects. Officials gave no indication that their activities ever moved beyond the planning stage.

None face charges of active involvement in any attacks.

Officials say the indictments are further indication of an al-Qaeda presence in Israel.
