What is truth? What is goodness and beauty?
These questions and more are addressed in a special CBN News debate between two men with very different answers.
Christopher Hitchens is a journalist who has written for magazines such as Vanity Fair, The Atlantic, the Nation, and Slate. He also the author of several best-selling books, including God is not Great.
Hitchens describes himself not so much as an atheist, but an "anti-theist." He explains more about that in the program.
On the other end of the spectrum is Douglas Wilson, a Christian and pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho.
Wilson is a senior fellow at New St. andrews College and is the author of several books, including Reforming Marriage, and Letter from a Christian Citizen.
Both men have very different views, but they are not strangers. They have collaborated on the book by the same title question, "Is Christianity Good for the World."
A film featuring the two men and their varying opinions was released in March 2009.
