Charlene Israel serves as a general assignment reporter. She has covered a variety of social issues such as abortion in the black community and eating disorders in kids.

Prior to joining CBN news in 2003, she was a personal letter writer for Dr. Pat Robertson.

Charlene attended Old Dominion University and Elizabeth City State University. She lives in Elizabeth City, NC with her two children.
