– Nun’s Killer Gets 30 Years in Prison
CWNNews.com - A rancher has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of an American nun.
Dorothy Stang was shot six times on a muddy road in the jungle in 2005.
The 73-year-old woman spent more than 20 years building schools and teaching settlers to preserve the rain forest in the Amazon.
She had angered wealthy Brazilians who wanted to take over the land.
Christians Threatened in Pakistan
CWNNews.com - Christians are on edge in northwest Pakistan not far from the city of Peshawar.
Believers in the city of Charsaddah have received letters threatening to execute them if they do not convert to Islam.
Christian say they are worried, but will stand firm in their faith.
Police are investigating to determine the source of the threatening letters.
They have pledged to protect the Christians.
