Muslim Insurgents Kill Three Christians in Iraq.
It happened in northern Iraq, in the city of Mosul. Funeral services were held this week for an Assyrian priest and three deacons murdered on June 3.
The four men were driving away from the Holy Spirit Church when gunmen intercepted their vehicle, pulled them from the car and shot them.
Evangelicals Denied Clean Water, Electricity
Evangelicals in Chiapas, Mexico, have been denied clean water and electricity for more than four months.
Compass Direct reports that town bosses cut off the services when the Christians refused to pay for drunken town festivals. Since then, these Christian families have been forced to drink out of far away wells and mud puddles.
One mother said her children have gotten sick from drinking and washing in the dirty water.
The Christians reached a compromise with town leaders more than a month ago, but the water has yet to be turned on.
Pakistan Christian Gets Death Sentence for Blasphemy
A Christian in Pakistan has received a death sentence for insulting Islam and Muhammad.
Human rights groups are urging Pakistan's president Musharraf to step in and spare his life. The 29-year-old defendant said his neighbors attacked him and turned him over to police after he rebuked a Christian who was singing Muslim songs.
Pakistan is a 97 percent Muslim country with strict laws against blasphemy.
