A new government report shows the economy appears to have turned the corner.
Thursday's report shows that the gross domestic product grew by 3.5 percent in the third quarter -- the best in two years.
The stock market has been climbing steadily since March -- one indication that the economy had emerged from four straight negative quarters.
But economists are still split on how strong the recovery will be.
"There's still a question of how long you can sustain growth at this sort of rate. My guess is we might do it in the fourth quarter, but we're probably going to have some slowdown when we get into the first half of next year," said Nigel Gault, Chief U.S. Economist.
Some argue that the economy will have a hard time getting back on its feet, while others expect a strong expansion.
