The BP oil spill along the Gulf Coast has prompted a worldwide debate on corporate ethics.
Now, many Christians are also making a greater effort to invest their money in funds that reflect biblical values.
Tom Phillips, president of FaithShares, helps Christian investors do just that. The group provides investors with a family of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), an investment form similar to stock that's traded on stock exchanges.
The ETFs are chosen based on the product's alignment with the values of five Christian groups -- Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist or Non-Denominational.
The result -- a combination of faith and profit, which the company says allows Christians to "invest with conviction."
Last year, FaithShares even ruled out two of BP's major partners as investment companies for its clients.
