Toyota is recalling nearly 1.7 million cars worldwide due to fuel leak concerns.
The models involved are under the company's Lexus brand.
Officials warned that the Lexus LS and GS models could develop leaks around the fuel sensor.
The repairs will cost Toyota more than $240 million.
At least 77 Toyota drivers have complained about the problem in North America. There have been no reports of any accidents.
This is the latest in a series of problems for the Japanese car giant. Toyota was forced to recall 12 million vehicles in 2009 over sticky gas pedals.
