Job Growth Slow But Stocks Still Climbing

Ad Feedback

There was disappointment on Wall Street Friday after the government reported only modest job growth last month.

Some are worried the economy is growing much too slowly. But even that little bit of growth has been enough to fuel a bull market in stocks this year.

The Dow Jones industrials and S&P 500 set new records Thursday.

Analysts said the pace of the economic recovery may be slow, but businesses are improving their earnings.

Overall, investors have been reentering the market. Many advisors said the stocks will keep climbing for the foreseeable future.
