Economist Predict Slow But Steady Growth

Economists predict the U.S. economy will grow to 3.5 percent this summer and stay above 3 percent the rest of the year.

However, they believe overall economic growth for 2014 will remain lower than previous estimates.

A survey by the National Association of Business Economists found they believe job growth will stay steady and consumer spending will pick up.

The harsh winter saw economic growth actually contract one percent in the first three months of the year.
