Market Losses Strike Dread in Hearts of Investors

The stock market is suffering one of its worst losses of the year and that has investors wondering when it will hit bottom.

Stocks have been a roller coaster in recent days, with the Dow Jones industrial average swinging up and down by 200 points or more, but it's mostly going down.
    
Some analysts say this is simply a long-overdue correction and that the market will eventually bottom out and turn around.

Oil prices also have been falling sharply and could go lower, but experts say oil will head back to $100 a barrel in the years ahead.
