Chick-fil-A is way ahead of all other fast food restaurants for customer satisfaction, a new survey from the American Customer Satisfaction Index revealed.

With a rating of 86 out of 100, the Christian-owned restaurant was well above the industry's average, beating out Chipotle and Panera Bread.

Business Insider attributes the chain's success to a perfect blend of tasty food and excellent customer service.

Chick-fil-A's success also shows that America's taste for fast food is alive and well.

"The fast casual segment of quick service restaurants is nicely situated for the confluence of changing consumer tastes and a rebounding economy," ACSI Director David VanAmburg said in a press release.

"Consumers have a bit more money in their pockets, but are still pressed for time. Fast casual outlets offer higher-quality ingredients, freshness, and fast service -- all at a reasonable price."

Even so, the survey showed that Americans are not as enamoured with fast food as they used to be, preferring better quality food, even if it costs more.
