Tuesday is Earth Day and Americans are seeing a growing emphasis on protecting the environment.
The debate over global warming is not the only part of the discussion. More Americans are looking for ways to save energy costs and reduce waste.
The city of Greensburg, Kansas, is trying to live up to its name by being the first to go entirely green.
A tornado destroyed the town last spring and the rebuilding process at schools, hospitals and homes is eco-friendly.
"Green is perceived as quote-un-quote 'a liberal movement.' You know and to me it's not liberal, conservative, red state, blue state. It's green. Its dollars. Its economics," Greensburg Mayor John Janssen said.
And entertainment giant Walt Disney is joining the environmental movement.
A new line of films called "Disney Nature" is in production. The first is set to debut on Earth Day 2009.
