Experts are warning parents to limit their kids' access to computers, TV and video games.
They say too much media increases a child's risk for many health problems, including obesity, drug use, eating disorders, early sexual activity and a tendency to be more violent.
Health Day News reports that on average, American kids and teens spend more than six hours a day watching or using some form of media.
Experts say letting your child have a TV set and internet access in their bedroom is a big "no-no" and parents should limit screen time to less than two hours a day to help keep them healthier.
