Israeli Military Develops Robot Snake

Ad Feedback

The Israeli government has a new line of defense on the battlefield, and it is called "the snake."

The robot snake is approximately six feet long and is equipped with a camera and microphone in its head.

Several flexible joints enable the device to slither and climb into caves, tunnels and other remote areas just like the real animal.

It is controlled by a laptop computer and is capable of gathering pictures and sound from the enemy.

The snake is still in the experimental stages, but the military plans to deploy the robot with combat units.
