A pro-life group is turning up the heat on a California cosmetics company for using skin-cell proteins from an aborted fetus in anti-aging creams.
In an article published in Tuesday's edition of The Washington Times, the group known as the Children of God for Life is calling for a boycott of products manufactured by San Francisco's Neocutis Incorporated.
The company acknowledges a key ingredient in its product line was developed from an aborted boy. But the company says it was developed at a Switzerland university and approved by a hospital medical ethics committee.
A spokesperson for Children of God for Life said, "There's just no excuse for using aborted babies in skin-care products."
