Global warming seems to have stalled.
The German news outlet, Der Spiegel, reported that climate reseachers have found that average global temperatures have stopped rising in the last ten years.
And looks like it's come to a complete standstill this year.
Climatologists don't know why it happened.
Global warming has been one of the most hotly debated topics in the scientific community.
Meanwhile on Friday, The New York Times reported thousands of private e-mails and other documents were hacked from a server at a British university and published on the Internet. Skeptics of global warming say the e-mails show that British and American climate researchers were fraudulently reporting data, in essence conspiring to trump up the case for human influence on global climate change.
One New York Times article featured one e-mail exchange where a scientist says he used a "statistical trick" to hide the decline in temperatures.
Several of the e-mails also show a concerted effort to keep articles opposing global warming out of some scientific journals.
University officials have admitted their server was hacked and several of the scientists have come forward admitting the authenticity of the messages. But they say the e-mails were taken out of context.
