Research shows grazing cattle and sheep can cut emissions of nitrous oxide, a chemical compound some scientists consider to be a dangerous greenhouse gas.

So, it looks like farmers won't have to put plastic bags on the bovines' bottoms after all. And that should make all those California cows just a little happier.
