An asteroid will be passing near Earth Thursday night, according to NASA officials.
The asteroid, dubbed 2010 GA6, will be just inside the moon's orbit, about 223,000 miles away.
The asteroid was only recently discovered by NASA and is about 71 feet wide.
2010 GA6 is the second asteroid to pass close to Earth this year. A nearly 40-feet wide asteroid came within 80,000 miles of the planet back in January.
NASA constantly tracks asteroids and comets that could fly by or strike earth.
