The latest hurricane in the Atlantic has weakened to a Category 1 storm.
Hurricane Danielle reached Category 2 status early Tuesday, but unexpectedly lost strength with maximum winds near 80 mph.
Still, the National Hurricane Center in Miami warned that the storm could regain strength over the next two days.
Danielle is located about 985 miles east of the Lesser Antilles and is projected to move north toward Bermuda over the weekend.
Another tropical system is forming behind Danielle. If that storm continues to develop, it will be named Earl.
