More U.S. soldiers are being forced out of the military because of mental health disorders.
The Army alone saw a 64 percent increase in those forced out due to mental illness between 2005 and 2009. The numbers equal to one in nine of all medical discharges.
Last year, more than1,200 soldiers received medical discharge for mental illness.
Experts say the increase is due to the emotional toll put on the military because of the seven year war in Iraq and nine years of war in Afghanistan.
