For most children, school has closed for the summer vacation. They are looking forward to summer sports activities like baseball, softball, and lounging by the pool.
Parents, on the other hand, want to try to find activities to keep them intellectually engaged, so their minds will stay focused and active over the summer break.
Dr. Linda Mintle is author of the book, Raising Healthy Kids. She recently spoke with CBN News about her ideas for keeping kids happy and healthy over the summer.
