Plant-Based Diet the Key to Disease Prevention?

A New Jersey physician appears to be the first in the country to operate the only farm-based primary care practice in the United States.

Dr. Ron Weiss is a former Los Angeles emergency room doctor who changed course after noticing his father experienced a longer life expectancy and higher energy levels than expected after switching to a plant-based diet shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Weiss found that a plant-based diet reversed cancer as well as a number of other health problems.  He believes a plant-based diet is the key to disease prevention and overall good health.

As a result, he set up shop on 342 acres of rolling countryside, on which he grows a wide assortment of vegetables.  His patients can literally step out of the exam room and grab the very items Dr. Weiss prescribes to treat their condition.

Dr. Ron Weiss recently shared more with CBN's Lorie Johnson about his plant-based. Click play to watch the interview.
