Fish has long had a reputation as brain food, but it could be good for your emotional health as well.

Eating more fish could help lower the risk of depression, according to research from China.

Scientists reviewed the findings from 26 separate studies covering more than 150,000 people. They found people who ate more fish cut their risk of depression by up to 17 percent.

One possible reason is the omega-3 fatty acids in fish can stimulate dopamine and seratonin in the brain, both of which can help you feel better.
