CBNNews.com - ITAMAR, Israel - Police have yet to return Rabbi Erez Bar-On's personal weapon, confiscated after last week's attempted stabbing at a hitchhiking post in Samaria.
While police exonerated Bar-On, who killed the terrorist before he could stab him and a teenager at the hitchhiking post near the Jewish community of Shiloh, authorities have yet to return his handgun.
Like many Jewish residents in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), Bar-On is licensed to carry a personal weapon because of the many Palestinian terror cells in nearby PA-controlled cities.
On Tuesday, Bar-On said the authorities were taking an unreasonably long time to examine the weapon, but police said they would decide if and when they would return his handgun.
