Egyptian Guards Kill Darfur Refugee

Ad Feedback - EGYPTIAN SINAI - Egyptian security guards posted in the Sinai near the border with Israel shot and killed a refugee from Darfur attempting to enter Israel.

According to Imad Kharboush, head of Egypt's Northern Sinai ambulance rescue, Egyptian border guards shot the 24-year-old Sudanese refugee in the back as he attempted to get across the fence Wednesday.

Two weeks ago, Egyptian guards killed a 32-year-old Sudanese man attempting to enter Israel.

According to Egyptian officials stationed near the Rafah border crossing, the man ignored warning shots and continued trying to make it across the border.
