CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - Following last week's terror attack on the Chabad House in Mumbai, Israel has boosted security around embassies, consulates and other government offices abroad.
Two senior Israeli security officials are in Mumbai to participate in the investigation and help with security arrangements at other Israeli sites in India.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the Indian government agreed to make laptops, documents and other paraphernalia confiscated from the terrorists available to Israeli security personnel.
"The Indians understand that it is in their interest to cooperate with Israel," one security official said. "There is already good cooperation and it will get better," he said.
While Israel will not provide security for Chabad Houses abroad, it will provide recommendations to the staff at Chabad's New York headquarters.
"We first need to complete the investigation, understand what happened and then implement the necessary changes," another security official said.
