CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - In a survey conducted by the Airports Council International (ACI), Ben Gurion International Airport's passenger terminal was rated the best in the Middle East.
Ben Gurion's terminal came in second after central Japan, among airports with 5 to 15 million passengers annually.
The annual survey is based on 200,000 completed questionnaires, covering 34 airport services from check-in through departure.
For the third consecutive year, Asia Pacific won the three top positions, with Seoul's Incheon International Airport in first place, Kuala Lumpur International Airport in second and Singapore Changi in third.
The Israel Airports Authority said Ben Gurion's new terminal has rated well in the past several years.
"As part of the ongoing improvements introduced by the Israel Airports Authority, the IAA recently decided to invest more than $250,000 million in security and safety at the terminal."
