CBNNews.com - The widow of arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh, assassinated on February 12, holds Syria responsible for her husband's death.
In an interview in Iran, Mughniyeh's widow said Syria's unwillingness to allow Iran to participate in the investigation of her husband's assassination was proof of Damascus' complicity.
"The Syrian traitors are responsible for his death. Damascus' refusal to let the Iranians investigate the incident is only one more proof of that," she said.
For months prior to Mughniyeh's assassination, rumors circulated that he was plotting to replace Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah as Hezbollah's leader, according to a report on Army Radio.
Mughniyeh served as the terror organization's operations chief, while Nasrallah serves as its spiritual and political head.
