CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak told members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Monday that only 2 percent of rockets fired by Palestinian terrorists on Israel hit their targets.
More than half of the rockets -- 60 percent -- fall in open areas.
Of the 40 percent that land in built-up areas, such as neighborhoods, industrial zones or agricultural facilities, 10 percent hit a part of a building, and only 2 percent score a direct hit.
The defense minister's report encouraged Israelis to continue praying for the safety of residents within range of Palestinian rocket fire.
