CBNNews.com - ASHDOD, Israel - A fire broke out in an eight-story apartment building in Ashdod Thursday after it was hit by a Katyusha rocket.
Magen David Adom (Israel's national emergency rescue service) paramedics treated several people for shock while firemen fought the blaze.
Early Thursday morning, the first rocket of the day landed in an open area near Beersheba, with no reported personal injuries or property damage.
Two more Katyushas landed in open areas around Beersheba by midday. No one was hurt in these attacks.
Ten Kassam rockets hit the Eshkol and Sdot Negev regional councils, one damaging a community building. Another rocket fired at Ofakim exploded in a field.
