The British-based consulting firm asks passengers to rank 190 international airports in 40-some categories, including baggage handling, duty-free shopping, restaurants, airport employees, etc.
Asian airports ranked in the top 10, with Hong Kong voted number one international airport for the seventh consecutive year.
Singapore's Changi, Seoul's Incheon, Japan's Kansai and airports in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Copenhagen, Zurich and Helsinki were all among the world's top 10 airports.
Munich won top spot for European airports and placed fifth worldwide.
The closest North American airport to the top 10 was San Francisco in 11th place, followed by Canada's Vancouver and the Dallas/Forth Worth airport.
