CBNNews.com - BEIRUT, Lebanon - At a ceremony at the graveside of assassinated arch-terrorist Imad Mugniyah, Samir Kuntar and the four other terrorists released in Wednesday's prisoner exchange swore they would liberate "Palestine."
Hezbollah believes Israel was behind the car bombing in Damascus last February that killed Mugniyah and has sworn to revenge the assassination by targeting Jews in Israel and abroad.
Dressed in Hezbollah military fatigues, Kuntar embraced Mugniyah's family members, who congratulated him on his release.
"We owe this victory to you and Imad," Kuntar told them.
"We swear in the name of the almighty Allah and in the name of your pure blood that we will continue in this path and never give up until we reach the place that was given to you by God," Kuntar said.
Meanwhile in an interview on Hezbollah's al-Manar satellite television, Ahmad el-Abras, a member of the terror cell that carried out the 1979 attack -- for which Kuntar was serving multiple consecutive life sentences for murder -- vowed to complete the mission.
"We will return to Palestine [sic] one day, despite what everyone else believes," el-Abras said.
