CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - Israeli police have notched up security at Jerusalem construction sites following Wednesday's terror attack, the second in three weeks using a bulldozer to mow down civilians on city streets.
On Wednesday, a 22-year-old Israeli Arab from east Jerusalem wounded more than 15 people before a civilian and a Border Policeman shot and killed him.
Three weeks ago, on July 2, another Israeli Arab used a bulldozer to kill three people and wound dozens of others on Jaffa Road.
While Israeli law prohibits employers from checking a worker's criminal record, police are not restricted.
Jerusalem Police Chief Cmdr. Aharon Franco authorized a review of construction workers' criminal record and spot checks of Arab construction workers from east Jerusalem.
The two Israeli Arabs who perpetrated the bulldozer attacks both had criminal records.
