CBNNews.com - GAZA STRIP - Six Hamas terrorists were wounded by a massive explosion in one of the group's training facilities in southern Gaza late Tuesday night.
Hamas dispatched bulldozers to the camp to move debris that may have trapped others.
The training camp sits on the site of a former Israeli community, abandoned in the government's August 2005 evacuation of the Gush Katif Settlement Bloc in the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry official Dr. Moaiya Hassanain, two of the injured are in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses said the massive explosion decimated the training camp, setting blazes that continued burning long after the explosion.
A second, smaller explosion occurred about 15 minutes later.
Hamas gunmen didn't allow anyone from the media to see the devastation.
Last Friday, four Hamas terrorists, two of them senior commanders, and a young girl were killed when an explosives-laden car blew up near the beachfront in Gaza City.
On Wednesday of last week, a bomb exploded near a café in central Gaza City and moments later a second bomb was detonated near the home of Hamas member Marwan Abu Rass.
