CBNNews.com - TEL AVIV, Israel - Tel Aviv ranked 14th in a survey of the world's most expensive cities to live in.
The survey, conducted by Mercer, a human resources consulting firm, evaluated 143 cities on six continents on the cost of various goods and services, such as housing, transportation, food, clothing, entertainment, household furnishings.
The survey used New York as its base, giving it 100 points and rating the other cities against it.
Moscow remained in first place for the third year in a row as the most expensive city in the world to live in, with 142.2 points on the index.
Last year, Tel Aviv was named the most expensive city in the Middle East to live in. This year, it moved up three places.
