CBNNews.com - WESTERN NEGEV, Israel - Hamas' Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades fired 18 mortar shells at Israel's western Negev today, following four Kassam rockets launched earlier Tuesday.
Two rounds of mortar shells landed near Nahal Oz, with no injuries or damage reported, though the IDF advised area residents to remain indoors.
Following the second salvo, the Israel Air Force targeted the terror cell in the Sajaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.
According to Palestinian sources, three Hamas cell members were killed and seven injured in the air strike.
In a separate attack, four mortar shells landed near the security fence at the border with Gaza, two Kassams landed in open areas in the Negev and two other rockets hit south of the coastal city of Ashkelon.
