CBNNews.com - TEL AVIV, Israel - Israeli bus, truck, and taxi drivers from around the country converged on Tel Aviv Thursday afternoon to protest the ever-increasing price of diesel fuel.
Drivers warned police ahead of time to expect massive traffic jams as thousands of cars and trucks stop traffic on parts of the Ayalon Highway.
Police warned the public to avoid the area between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
"Those who do not need to travel on the Ayalon Highway or the Gush Dan [Tel Aviv and Environs] area are advised to stay away," police said.
