CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - Some 120 young Jewish leaders, from 28 countries, spent a week in Israel at the 2008 ROI Global Summit for Jewish Innovators.
The third annual conference, jointly sponsored by Taglit-Birthright Israel and the Center for Leadership Initiatives (CLI), brings young Jewish leaders together from around the world.
"The purpose of the gathering is to advance innovation in Jewish fields by enhancing and improving the management skills of ROI participants and to foster connections and collaborations among them," said CLI executive director Yonatan Gordis.
"These young people are deeply connected to their local communities, but also care deeply about the land of Israel. Their fresh perspectives, innovation and enthusiasm all point to a vibrant future for the Jewish people," he said.
The program focuses on seven areas: Service, Arts and Culture, Visions of Israel, Environmentalism, Jewish Content and Technology, Global Jewish Community, and Youth Programs.
