CBNNews.com - GAZA STRIP - Palestinian sources reported that 10 people were injured by an IAF (Israel Air Force) air strike, following Thursday's mortar shell attack on a western Negev kibbutz that killed one man and injured five others.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officers said the air strike scored a direct hit on a Hamas launch pad in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.
Palestinian terrorists set up rocket-launch sites within residential areas to heighten the chances that civilians will be killed or injured by targeted air strikes. From their point of view, civilian deaths and injuries benefit their cause.
That was the case Thursday when Palestinian doctors said a four-year-old girl was killed in an IAF strike targeting the Hamas terrorist who launched the mortar shell attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz, which killed Amnon Rosenfeld.
Rosenfeld is survived by his wife, Tal, sons Dor, 27, and Eldar, 22, and daughter Yarden, 12.
