CBNNew.com - KIBBUTZ NIR, Israel - Gaza-based Palestinians scored a direct hit on a factory in Kibbutz Nir, injuring two employees.
Last week, a mortar shell hit the same factory, killing 51-year-old Amnon Rosenberg.
Magen David Adom (Israel's national emergency rescue service) treated two workers at the scene for shrapnel wounds, evacuating one of them to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
"The factory is within range [of mortar shells and rockets fired from Gaza], and there is nothing we can do about it unless the government decides to act toward putting an end to the attacks launched against us," the kibbutz secretary Haim Peri told YNet news.
"I hope the workers will not be afraid to go back to work. This is the reality that we live in," Peri said.
Firefighters evacuated the factory as they worked to extinguish the blaze set off by the explosion.
