CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers impounded a truck transporting quantities of sulfuric and nitric acid near the Palestinian Authority- (PA) controlled city of Kalkilya.
Following Thursday's terror attack on the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva (religious seminary) in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem, the IDF and Israel Police are on the second highest level of alert against Palestinian terror attacks.
While patrolling the Trans-Samaria highway near Kalkilya, troops discovered 11 gallons of sulfuric acid and eight gallons of nitric acid, used in the manufacturing of explosives, hidden in the back of a truck.
For obvious reasons, Israel has banned entry of hazardous materials used to manufacture bombs into Judea and Samaria (the West Bank).
