CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - In an unconfirmed report, Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces said they rescued an Israeli who inadvertently entered Ramallah, where a mob surrounded him.
A Palestinian security official told YNet news service that he probably came to the PA-controlled city by mistake. Once there, he walked toward Manara Square, where a mob encircled him.
According to the official, he was neither threatened nor attacked by anyone in the crowd, though security forces had to fire their weapons in the air to get to him.
He was taken to a Ramallah police station, where PA security officials notified the IDF.
Israel has yet to confirm or comment on the incident.
