Obama, Putin Congratulate Bibi

CBNNews.com - U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin both called newly installed Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, congratulating him and extending invitations to visit.

Obama reportedly reiterated America's commitment to Israel in a 30-minute conversation that was described as "friendly and constructive" by officials in the Prime Minister's Office.

Putin, who called Netanyahu "a welcome guest in Moscow," spoke of strengthening ties between Russia and Israel, security and stability in the region and continuing the peace process.
