KALKILYA, West Bank - Palestinian Authority (PA) forces discovered an explosives lab in a mosque in the PA-controlled city of Kalkilya on Wednesday evening as Israelis gathered for the traditional Seder meal.

According to PA officials, an electrical short started a small fire and brought security personnel to the mosque, where they discovered the explosives lab, which included a cache of completed devices ready for use.

The bombs were turned over to IDF (Israel Defense Forces) sappers, who detonated them in controlled explosions.

"It was a huge weapons lab," a PA official told Israeli reporters. The official said that four people had been taken in for questioning in connection with the bomb factory, two of whom are affiliated with Hamas.
